Equipment Assembler

Custom Truck One Source, 21209 Durand Ave., Union Grove, WI 53182 Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM start (1:30pm; overtime as needed to 3:30pm) Position Summary We are looking for a skilled Equipment Assembler with hands-on mechanical and welding experience to join our growing team. This role is responsible for assembling, fitting, and modifying commercial truck equipment including utility bodies, cranes, hydraulics, and liftgates . If you enjoy working with your hands, reading blueprints, and seeing your work roll out the door fully assembled—this is the role for you. Key Responsibilities Assemble and install truck bodies, equipment, and accessories on chassis Perform welding and basic fabrication work as needed Mount and align hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical components Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality Safely operate tools including grinders, plasma cutters, and torque wrenches Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications 1–3 years experience in mechanical assembly or welding (preferred) Basic hydraulic and electrical understanding a plus Ability to read blueprints or schematics Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, bend, and work in various positions throughout the shift High school diploma or GED required; technical training a plus Why Join Custom Truck One Source?
