Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical assessments and a meticulous review of their medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging results and lab tests
• Partner closely with surgeons to devise and implement patient-specific surgical treatment plans
• Provide stellar intraoperative support by preparing operating rooms, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and adeptly handing off surgical tools
• Deliver outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care, encompassing medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and educational outreach for patients

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant educational institution
• Successful completion of clinical rotations with a strong surgical focus is highly preferred

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
