Job purpose

Responsible for the timely and accurate execution of a client’s media program. Account Coordinator collaborates primarily with the media and Account Manager. They operate as a key contributor of the overall account Management System carrying out scheduled programs as well as special projects.

Duties and responsibilities

• Prepare all critical media facing reporting including insertion orders, press runs and proof of deployment.
• Troubleshoots all media facing issues including material delivery issues, rate discrepancies and missed deployments.
• Update the appropriate documents and MediaMaximizer® application as elements of the Client’s program changes.
• Coordinate the flow of information to the media and the Account Manager and the Accounting Department – as appropriate.
• Input all client and media related information into our proprietary MediaMaximizer® application.
• Negotiate makegoods with vendors.
• Create Client Report Package for each event as well as ala carte reporting as needed.
• Maintain daily working relationship with other related Agency departments, including Operations, Accounting, IT/Data Services, and Media Analysis.
• Analyze media coverage for markets and stores.
• Negotiate and manage rates for client’s vendors.
• May be required to reconcile vendor invoices.
• May work on one or multiple accounts simultaneously.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred
• Office and/or print media experience preferred
• This is an entry level position
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Strong/accurate computer skills in MS Excel and MS Word
• Strong communication skills, both via verbal and written
• Positive, responsive, flexible, resourceful and reliable team-player attitude
• Displays tenacity as a self-starter with strong initiative and follow-through
• Multi-tasker – ability to execute multiple assignments at once
• Great attention to detail, organization and precision

Working conditions

RPM has a hybrid model; employee will be permitted to work from home at management’s discretion. Employee’s access to resources, as well as core competency are relevant factors in remote options, as well as team work schedule. During peak times or periods, workflow can be very demanding and challenging, often requiring the need to juggle multiple projects with very tight deadlines, which could require evening and/or weekend work.

Physical requirements

This is a general office work position. The Account Coordinator will be required to sit and operate a CPU most of the time. The position also requires inter office communication as well as virtual interface.
