Position Description Performs maintenance work on buildings, utilities, equipment, machinery and grounds, as required. Works from verbal and written instructions of Maintenance Department. Able to read and interpret blueprints, machinery layouts and sketches. Installs and maintains gas, water, steam and air lines, etc. May be required to install or move machinery and equipment and perform other millwright work. Uses such equipment as scaffolds, cranes, hoists, trucks, etc. as well as various trade tools. Performs masonry, painting, plumbing, welding, and carpentry. May work independently. Must use care and judgment in carrying out assignments to protect self and others from possible hazards. Maintains a safe work environment. Required Education & Qualifications Must be atleast 18 years of age. Mut have a HS Diploma or GED.
