Registered Nurse - Charge RN (Day Shift)

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12-Hour shifts from 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM. Must be available to work every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday).

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Charge RN. In this role, you will provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients, including those in need of orthopedic and medical surgical care. You will also take on charge responsibilities as needed, which involve overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring optimal patient care delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients, including medication administration and monitoring.
• Oversee the nursing staff and coordinate patient care as a Charge RN.
• Utilize telemetry monitoring and manage patient observation.
• Assist in patient therapies and rehabilitation within the unit's facilities.
• Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with a focus on Charge RN responsibilities.
• Travel nursing experience is required.
• Active RN license.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience with Epic charting system.
• Must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam as part of the compliance process.
