Exciting opportunities are available for passionate School Psychologists committed to making a profound impact in educational communities near Richmond, TX. These contract positions run from July 30, 2026, through May 28, 2027, featuring openings across approximately five campuses in both South and West Houston. Full-time roles offer the chance to collaborate closely with educators, students, and families to foster student growth and well-being within dynamic school environments.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Valid and active Texas School Psychologist credential/licensure (current license documentation required)
- Prior school-based experience working with diverse student populations
- Availability for on-site work; possible hybrid arrangement for report writing may be considered
- Full-time availability (37.5 hours per week)
- Reliable transportation to travel between assigned campuses
- Ability to obtain HISD fingerprinting clearance within the first three days of contract signing
- Detailed and up-to-date resume reflecting relevant school-based psychological services
- Bilingual proficiency or a doctoral degree (PhD) is a plus
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive psychological assessments, counseling, and consultative services to students
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support individualized plans and interventions
- Support the academic and emotional development of students across multiple campuses
- Adhere to all district and Texas state regulations related to special education and student services
- Maintain accurate records and timely reporting of student progress
