Work Environment\n

This role offers a flexible, remote work environment that prioritizes work-life balance. As a mental health counselor conducting teletherapy, you will engage with clients through virtual platforms, which not only allows for a greater reach within the community but also accommodates clients' varying schedules and needs. The typical work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to meet patient demand.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to accurately identify patients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their individual circumstances.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, and families, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy to address a spectrum of mental health issues.

• Facilitate engaging psychoeducational and support groups, providing patients with essential skills and fostering a sense of community.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure a cohesive and holistic approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention services, offering immediate support and strategies during mental health emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, treatment options available, and the community resources that can assist them in their recovery.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in compliance with all legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The counselor will work with a diverse patient population encompassing various ages, backgrounds, and mental health challenges, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse issues. Your role in guiding these individuals towards recovery and self-empowerment will be integral to their healing journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and familiarity with various evidence-based treatment modalities.

Compensation and Benefits\n
