What You'll Do

• Serve as core faculty for the Internal Medicine Health Equity Track, mentoring residents and providing innovative, population-focused medical care.
• Deliver comprehensive internal medicine care utilizing evidence-based and value-based principles.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives, participate in scholarly activities, and mentor residents in research and clinical projects.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including care managers, pharmacists, social workers, and community partners.
• Incorporate social determinants of health and community engagement strategies in patient care and teaching.
• Use population health tools such as risk stratification and care coordination to improve patient outcomes and reduce disparities.
• Contribute to curriculum development aligned with ACGME competencies and institutional priorities.

What You Need

• Medical license valid in Texas
• Board-certified or eligible in Internal Medicine
• Experience in population health, health equity, or related fields
• Strong communication, leadership, and collaborative skills

• Teaching or scholarly experience in residency programs
• Background in quality improvement and community-engaged care
