Deli Specialist

Job Summary Shift: Thursday 3:00PM – 9:30PM, Friday & Saturday 1:30PM – 9:30PM, Sunday 3:00PM – 8:30PM. Benefits Weekly Pay: Get paid every week. Responsibilities Slices, packages, weighs, and sells various deli products, including meats and cheeses. Maintains the presentation and cleanliness of the deli, including deli display cases. Provides assistance to Members in the deli department. Supports the application of club policies, procedures, and compliance. Act with honesty and integrity, addressing concerns and escalating them as appropriate. Ensures a safe and positive environment for members and teammates. Goes above and beyond to deliver gold-standard service and member satisfaction. Key Accountabilities Provide high-level customer service to Members, answering questions and recommending deli items. Adequately manage special orders, party trays, and inventory. Follow food safety, freshness, and product handling policies, checking for out‑of‑date items daily. Stock, rotate, and store deli items while ensuring accurate pricing and weighing. Operate and maintain deli equipment safely and sanitize surfaces throughout the department. Adhere to all club policies and procedures and assist in other departments as needed. Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance and meet attendance standards. Qualifications Work experience in a deli department preferred. Prior experience operating manual or power slicers and scales preferred. Knowledge of deli products preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age. Environmental Conditions Most of the time is spent moving about frequently on hard surfaces. Tasks may require bending, pulling, reaching, stooping, and lifting objects up to 30pounds, with occasional heavier lifts with assistance. The work environment is indoors with frequent temperature extremes from freezers, ovens, and coolers, and exposure to cleaning agents. Pay Starting at $16.75 per hour.
