Accounting ManagerWe are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our Finance leadership team. Reporting to the Global Controller, this role oversees accounting operations for the U.S. and Canada, including the consolidation of global entities.As a key business partner to the CFO, Global Controller, and Division Vice Presidents, you will deliver accurate financial reporting, meaningful analysis, and strategic insights that support business growth. This position also plays a critical role in strengthening financial processes, optimizing ERP system efficiency, developing accounting team members, and driving profitability improvements across the organization.Responsibilities:Lead, develop, and inspire the Accounting Team to achieve departmental and organizational goalsEnsure the timely and accurate month-end close process and consolidation of foreign subsidiariesLead initiatives to understand, optimize, and streamline processes within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP systemIdentify and investigate financial variances against budget; drive cost improvements through strong financial analysis and partnership with managementEstablish, document, and enforce accounting policies and procedures in accordance with U.S. GAAPReview all account reconciliations on a monthly basisLead internal and external audit activitiesPrepare compliance reporting for banks and various government entitiesDevelop and deliver financial reports and analytical insightsDrive continuous improvements in financial reporting processesStay current with new accounting standards and pronouncementsPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:Required:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance10+ years' experience in AccountingAbility to effectively motivate, direct, and supervise staffHigh attention to detail and accuracyAdvanced computer skills: proficient in Microsoft Excel and OfficePreferred:2+ years' experience in Public AccountingCPA or Advanced DegreeExperience working for a ManufacturerExperience with Microsoft D365Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and consolidation of foreign subsidiariesThe ideal candidate is a hands-on accounting leader who thrives on improving processes, developing talent, and driving operational excellence.Why Kurt J.
