Registered Nurse – Intermediate Care Unit

Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM (Day shift)

Assignment Details

Guaranteed Hours: 36 Weekly Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements

• Up-to-date resume with 2+ years of experience in Intermediate Medical Care Unit (IMCU) or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and travel experience documented
• Skills checklist matching specialty
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• NURSYS report for license verification with active state license and all RN licenses
• EMR experience required: EPIC
• Drivers license with address matching demographics

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in an IMCU setting for adult patients, focusing on neuro, cardiac, trauma, and respiratory conditions
• Monitor and manage patients with chronic ventilator needs
• Assist with specialty equipment such as temp pacers, chest tubes, A-lines, and BiPAP
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures regarding patient care and documentation
