South Brooklyn Health is a redesigned health care campus featuring the new 11‑floor Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital which provides emergency care, modern labor and delivery suites, and state‑of‑the‑art surgical services. The new Health & Wellness Institute offers outpatient services from primary and preventive care to specialty services for children and adults. Opportunity Details Serve as the direct supervisor, provide clinical guidance, and complete performance evaluations for clinical staff. Direct, evaluate, and supervise all aspects of Adult Primary Care, Geriatrics, Same Day, Weight Management, and IDA G Family Medicine departments. Provide direct patient care and precept residents in resident practice. Collaborate with the Medicine Residency Program Directors to ensure an optimal continuity clinic experience for Medicine Residents. Develop and lead departmental performance improvement activities. Coordinate closely with ambulatory nursing and administrative leadership. Participate in weekly departmental operations and committee meetings. Qualifications Board Certification in Internal Medicine Active or eligible for a New York State Medical License Valid DEA registration Wages and Benefits Annual Base Salary of $265,100 based on a 40‑hour work week. The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $331,610, which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, and other factors as set forth below: 401(k) Company Contribution: Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required. After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required. Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets. Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
