Packaging Lab Technician

Job Title : Packaging Lab Technicican

Location: Princeton, NJ

Hours / Schedule : Monday - Friday (8:30 am - 4:30 pm)

Pay: $20-25 per hour

Type: Contract with potential to extend to a maximum of 1 year

Responsibilities

• Follow test methods and procedures.
• Use measurements of various products and components.
• Record data into lab notebook and into excel.
• Use software to run and operate and communicate information to cross-functional teams.
• Manage tasks and objective priorities, work independently, to help qualify new packaging components.

Requirements

• Proficient in Excel, and Technical measurements.
• Capable of learning basic software and running computer based lab testing equipment.
• Good communication skills to communicate with Engineers and cross-function groups & suppliers.
• Able to work independently and manage project priorities.
• Capable of lifting 50-lb packages for package testing.
• Good mechanical skills, and knowledge of the scientific method.
• Minimum education high school; Chemistry and Physics 1 & 2 required.
