CNC Lathe Operator

Job Description

A manufacturing company is seeking a CNC Lathe Operator who will be responsible for efficiently running production machines, maintaining good quality products, and reporting issues to their supervisor. This is a first shift opportunity working 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Job Responsibilities:

• Run production CNC Lathe Machines, inspect products properly, and maintain good quality products
• Leave machine in good working condition and report issues to department lead
• Make tool offsets and change to tooling when needed
• Keep machine, floor, workstation, and area clean
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Job Qualifications:

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED; Vocational school training on electrical principles and troubleshooting
• Must have at least 2 years' experience in light industry or the machine tool industry
• Must have 2 years experience operating production machines
• Must have the ability to make good decisions on which materials to use, how to solve the problem, and if outside assistance is needed
• Must be able to work in a high-pressure environment and handle multi-tasks
• Must be safety-conscious and dependable
