You Have:3+ years of experience performing fresh installations of Oracle Database on various operating systems3+ years of experience configuring database parameters, memory structures3+ years of experience developing and implementing robust backup strategies3+ years of experience monitoring database performance using tools such as AWR, ADDM, ASH, and OEM3+ years of experience identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks3+ years of experience configuring and managing Oracle Advanced Security options and Oracle Data Guard for disaster recovery and high availability3+ years of experience working in Linux/Unix and Windows Server environments, including command-lineAbility to obtain a Secret clearanceHS diploma or GEDAbility to obtain CompTIA Security+ Certification prior to start dateNice If You Have:3+ years of experience collaborating with developers on schema design, object creationExperience in SQL and PL for database management, scripting, and troubleshootingExperience in maintaining comprehensive documentation of database configurations, procedures, and security posturesAbility to be analytical and problem-solve in order to diagnose and resolve complex database, application, network, and system issues under pressurePossession of excellent written and oral communication skills to interact with technical teams, management, and customersClearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
