What You'll Do
- Provide high-quality nursing care to emergency department patients
- Assess patient conditions and prioritize urgent needs using the nursing process
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with patients and families
- Document patient data accurately and promptly in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on care plans and procedures
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards in fast-paced environments
- Support quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practices
What You Need
Required:- Current Louisiana RN license
- 2+ years of ER nursing experience
- BLS, CPI, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Proficiency with medical software and patient documentation
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Certification in clinical specialty areas
