Senior Director, Global Product Strategy

Role Description

Own and evolve AFP's enterprise product strategy across learning, membership, credentials, events, and digital products.

• Develop and maintain a customer-informed product roadmap aligned with organizational strategy and revenue goals.
• Partner with Marketing, Sales, Membership, Technology, Finance, Analytics, and Professional Development to bring new products and enhancements to market.
• Analyze customer feedback, market trends, and competitive insights to identify new growth opportunities.
• Drive product lifecycle management, including pricing, positioning, business cases, and success metrics.
• Monitor portfolio performance and recommend improvements to maximize growth, profitability, and member value.
• Lead strategic planning discussions and help prioritize initiatives across the organization.
• Coach and develop a high-performing product strategy team while fostering collaboration and accountability.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience leading product strategy, product management, or portfolio management.
• Demonstrated success developing and launching revenue-generating products or services.
• Strong financial and business acumen, including pricing, forecasting, and business case development.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing executive stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Association, education, credentialing, SaaS, or professional services experience is a plus.
