General Liability Associate Attorney

Role The General Liability Practice Group handles a diverse range of clients—including employers, carriers, third‑party administrators, and self‑insureds—defending medical malpractice actions from initial claims through mediation, arbitration, trial, and appeal. Your responsibilities include the following: Review and prepare summaries of medical records to advocate for clients. Draft motions and attend hearings to represent clients in court. Prepare clients for depositions and attend depositions as needed. Draft initial, interim, pre‑trial, trial, and appellate reports. Respond to discovery requests and draft discovery‑related motions. Regularly attend court appearances to secure the best possible outcomes. Take and defend depositions of fact witnesses and expert witnesses. Licensed in Washington. 3–10 years of experience specializing in General Liability. Ability to work efficiently in a remote setting. Analytical and problem‑solving skills for complex legal issues. Excellent research abilities and strong written and oral communication skills. Experience drafting and responding to discovery‑related motions. Experience regularly attending court appearances. Experience taking and defending depositions of fact witnesses and expert witnesses. Experience drafting motions for summary judgments.
