Account Manager

Position Overview We're seeking a dynamic Account Manager to serve as the primary relationship builder and strategic partner for our clients. In this role, you'll anticipate client needs, develop creative solutions, and drive event strategy success while managing seven-figure revenue portfolios. You'll be the face of the agency and the key instigator who transforms client challenges into growth opportunities. What You'll Do: Client Relationship Management Serve as primary point of contact for prospects and existing clients, building relationships of impact and influence Meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals and margin targets Partner directly with client marketing teams and leadership to develop annual departmental budgets Facilitate annual business reviews that create clarity around projected budgets, asset library, and storage costs Develop a deep understanding of client event marketing goals and deliver on event specific execution Price client projects and craft compelling proposals Schedule and support annual spec design review Contribute and collaborate inside of client moodboards Revenue & Business Development Research and identify target prospects in trade show and event marketing space Engage inbound prospects via phone, email, and LinkedIn to build pipeline of qualified opportunities Qualify prospects using BANT methodology and move them through the sales funnel Accurately forecast and update sales data inside of HubSpot Develop comprehensive understanding of Triple20's service offerings to expand existing client business Identify and pursue new opportunities within existing client accounts Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Creative, Project Management, and Production teams to translate program marketing goals into winning event strategies Communicate project details, changes, and client expectations to internal teams daily Ensure projects in production meet client expectations and align with brand visions Support project teams and clients through travel to supervise build and event execution What We're Looking For: Required Qualifications 3+ years of B2B sales and/or account management experience with revenue ownership responsibility Proven account growth and business development Demonstrated success selling into mid-market segments and engaging large buyer groups Experience winning competitive RFPs and multi-bidder projects Excellent communication and presentation skills Proficiency with CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) Ability to travel 10-15% and work hybrid schedule (in office Tuesday-Thursday) Preferred Qualifications 8+ years of B2B sales and/or account management experience Trade show or event marketing industry experience Familiarity with sales, account management, and client success best practices Experience with BANT qualification methodology (Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline) Knowledge of Challenger Sales methodology and consultative selling approaches The Ideal Candidate: Core Strengths Relationship-Centered: High empathy, healthy communication style, strong boundaries, and proven ability to achieve results through connections Achievement-Driven: Motivated by hitting goals and measuring success through concrete metrics Data-Oriented: Passionate about analytics, KPIs, and performance measurement Resourceful: Natural problem-solver who finds ways to overcome obstacles Growth-Minded: Open to coaching and continuous improvement Resilient: Experienced with setbacks and skilled at turning challenges into opportunities Professional Qualities Comfortable with revenue and margin accountability pressure Willing to engage in difficult conversations when necessary Collaborative approach to creative problem-solving Entrepreneurial mindset with client success focus What We Offer: Compensation Structure Variable compensation model with $85,000 - $115,000 total On-Target Earnings (OTE) OTE range varies based on portfolio revenue responsibility and experience level Commission structure for new business development tied to revenue and margin performance Additional compensation opportunities based on deal attributes, client retention, and strategic account growth Unlimited PTO with flexible scheduling 401(k) matching program Complete health coverage: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Technology support: Cell phone reimbursement and generous technology stipends Professional development opportunities and growth-oriented culture Hybrid flexibility: Work from anywhere Monday/Friday, collaborate in office Tuesday-Thursday Social impact focus: Contribute to environmental sustainability while driving business results Collaborative culture: Work alongside creative, project management, and production specialists Growth opportunities: Join a company that values both individual development and collective success Triple20 is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
