Job Title: Travel CT Technologist

Location: Anchorage, AK
Duration: 13 Weeks (Potential Extension)
Schedule: 4x10 Day Shifts | Primarily Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Compensation: $2,500 - $2,900 Weekly (Based on Experience)
Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to provide diagnostic imaging services in a dynamic healthcare environment. This role involves performing CT examinations, supporting additional imaging procedures, and delivering high-quality patient care across multiple clinical settings. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Operate CT scanners and related imaging equipment safely and effectively to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Provide support for general radiographic and C-arm imaging procedures as needed.
• Assist with specialized studies, including Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) procedures when required.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning throughout imaging procedures.
• Maintain compliance with radiation safety standards and imaging best practices.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
• Accurately document imaging procedures and patient information within the electronic medical record system.
• Adapt to varying workflows and patient populations across multiple care settings.
• Participate in weekend coverage and floating assignments as needed.

Required Qualifications
Education

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Certifications & Licensure

• Active ARRT (R) certification required.
• Active ARRT (CT) certification required.
• Current BLS certification required.

Experience

• Minimum one (1) year of CT Technologist experience required.
• Experience with GE and Siemens CT scanners preferred.
• Experience with Siemens, Fuji, and C-arm imaging equipment preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a low-volume imaging environment.
• Epic EMR experience preferred.

• Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols and radiation safety practices.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing clinical needs.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to image quality.
• Ability to work collaboratively within interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

Assignment Details

• Shift: 4x10 Day Shifts (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
• Duration: 13 Weeks with possibility of extension
• Weekend coverage required
• Floating between assigned facilities required
• Guaranteed 70 hours per two-week pay period
• Travel assignment (candidate must reside outside local commuting distance)
