Accounting Clerk

A Law Firm in Greenville is seeking a temp-to-hire Accounting Clerk to join their team. The ideal candidate will have several years of accounting experience, have experience with Microsoft Excel, and be open to growth opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Log and process cash, check, wire, and ACH payments
- Post real estate and trust payments and process checks
- Run weekly financial reports for managers
- Assist with month-end closing process
- Create monthly journal entries
- Assist with compliance reports
- Coordinate license renewals for attorneys
- Assist with budget process
- Associates in business, accounting, or finance
- 3 - 5 years of accounting administrative experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- $20 - $25/hr
- FGP offers contract employees benefits including minimum essential coverage insurance, a fixed indemnity plan and a 401k retirement plan once eligibility requirements are met
