Accounts Receivable Specialist

Accounts Receivable Specialist Location: Elkhart, IN (100% onsite) About the Company and Opportunity: - Our client is a financially stable and growth-oriented company with a strong emphasis on accuracy and customer service. - This role offers hands-on responsibility for managing receivables and supporting the accounting team. - Employees enjoy a collaborative and detail-focused environment with opportunities for skill development and cross-training. Key Responsibilities: - Process and post incoming payments and reconcile customer accounts. - Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding invoices. - Communicate with customers to resolve billing issues and ensure timely collections. - Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and reporting. - Assist with month-end closing and general ledger support related to accounts receivable. - Support the accounting team with special projects and process improvements. Preferred Qualifications: - Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. - 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. - Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
