Now Hiring: Quality Control Inspector

Location: Denton, Texas 76207
Pay: $20/hr
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00AM-5:00PM (Overtime required as needed)
Employment Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

The Houston Branch is seeking a quality control (QC) inspector for our manufacturing client in Denton, Texas. This role will make certain that products meet established standards and specifications. You will inspect, test, and monitor production processes, identifying defects and ensuring adherence to quality control protocols. Your work helps maintain product quality, safety, and compliance with industry regulations.

• Product Inspection: Examine raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods for defects, ensuring they meet specified standards.

• Testing: You will perform various tests, such as dimensional measurements, visual inspections, and performance tests, using tools like measuring tapes, calipers, and gauges.

• Monitoring: Monitor production processes, identify deviations from standards, and recommend adjustments to the assembly or production line.

• Reporting: Document inspection results, report defects, and communicate findings to relevant teams, including quality assurance and production.

• Calibration: Maintain and calibrate measuring equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.

• Compliance: Ensure products and processes comply with internal quality control policies, industry standards, and regulations.

• Continuous Improvement: May contribute to process improvements by identifying areas for optimization and suggesting solutions.

• Attention to Detail: Meticulousness is essential for identifying even minor defects.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using measurement tools and interpreting technical drawings is crucial.

• Analytical Skills: The ability to analyze data, identify trends, and solve problems is valuable.

• Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication with team members is vital for reporting issues and collaborating on solutions.

• Problem-Solving: QC inspectors need to be able to troubleshoot issues and find solutions to maintain quality standards.

• Knowledge of Quality Standards: Understanding of relevant industry standards and regulations is required.
