Accounting Clerk (HYBRID)

Temp-to-Hire | $24$25/hr | HYBRID

• First 2 months: On-site MondayFriday
• After training: Hybrid Work from home Monday & Friday, in-office TuesdayThursday

About the Role

A global logistics company in Jericho, NY is seeking a motivated Accounting Assistant to support the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their accounting career who wants hands-on experience and exposure to international teams.

No logistics experience required the company is open to recent graduates or candidates with limited accounting experience who are eager to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processing
• Communicate with accounting teams across the U.S. and international offices
• Review, match, and enter invoices with accuracy
• Support payment processing and follow-up on outstanding items
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation
• Assist with reconciliations and basic reporting
• Provide general administrative support to the accounting department
• Handle ad-hoc tasks as needed in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• 02 years of accounting experience (A/P or A/R a plus, but not required)
• Strong communication skills and comfort working with global teams
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general computer skills
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks
• Eager to learn and grow within the accounting field
• Reliable, professional, and able to work full-time on-site during training

Compensation

• Hourly: $24$25/hr
