Cath Lab Tech

Overview: Assists the physician in the performance of invasive cardiac procedures. Has thorough knowledge of all Cath Lab Equipment and maintenance of it and administers direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures. Able to provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures. Responsibilities: Assists the physician in the performance of invasive cardiac procedures; provides direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during procedures; maintains Cath Lab equipment. Education Graduate of an accredited RCIS program Graduate of an accredited program in nursing, respiratory, paramedic, imaging, or exercise physiology. Work Experience 1 year Healthcare Imaging, Exercise Physiology, Paramedic, Respiratory, or RN experience No experience required if a graduate of an RCIS program. Licenses and Certifications Applicable license based on healthcare experience upon hire RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (for RCIS graduate within 2 years) RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure upon hire RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist upon hire BCLS - Basic Life Support upon hire ACLS upon hire #J-18808-Ljbffr
