You will manage access, monitor activity, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at an educational location. Staff the front desk, greet and direct visitors, maintain visitor logs, issue authorized credentials, and communicate visitor information to appropriate campus personnel. Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and/or other security-related systems from the designated desk area, reporting unusual activity or equipment concerns according to site procedures. Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed. Maintain accurate records, complete daily activity reports, and provide clear communications to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements At least one year of security-related experience is required. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
