Electrician Journeyman

Electrician Journeyman (FOS00GM) Department: Lake Road Generating Station Location: St. Joseph, Missouri Pay: $57.76 Responsibilities Perform electrical maintenance on and repairs to all types of power plant equipment. Investigate faulty equipment operation and apply corrective measures to all types of electrical equipment. Utilize and maintain equipment or tools necessary to perform duties of the job. Perform other similar or less-skilled work as assigned. Qualifications Experience Five years' experience in an electrical generation power plant or similar industrial concern. At least three years' experience working as a journeyman electrician or equivalent. Successfully completed certified electrician apprenticeship or equivalent training. Documented completion of an apprenticeship, equivalent experience, or equivalent training programs. General Demonstrable knowledge of AC and DC circuits and equipment, programmable logic controllers, and processors, and the ability to read blueprints. Licensed to drive as required by state law.
