Ludlow Liquors is looking for a lead line cook. Looking to gain some admin experience? Then this is the right place for you! What we do require: at least 2 years of kitchen experience and weekend availability with a flexible schedule
This is a full time or part time position. Full-time employees (after a 3 month qualifying period) are eligible for health insurance. (we offer 4 tiers of Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO plans)
Responsibilities :- Line and grill cooking
- Kitchen prep (sauces, meats, fryer, grill, plancha)
- Opening and closing the kitchen
- Training new staff
- Kitchen inventory
- Maintaining and creating Kitchen SOPs
- Maintaining a clean and organized work space
- Providing friendly, helpful service when interacting with guests
- Team player that remains encouraging and stays calm under pressure
- Able to direct others in an supportive manner
- Able to work up to 36 hours a week, and up to 7-9 hours a shift
- 2-5 years of kitchen experience (will train and work with the right candidate)
- Solid knife skills and food safety knowledge
- Dependable, punctual, and self-directed
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Comfortable with computer skills and slack
- Car and valid drivers license. (Might be occasional RD trips)
Starting at $20-$22/hr (based on experience)
Plus 11.5-13%of food sales in tips (the avg hourly is around 25-35/hr with tip-out)
