Burn Table Operator

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Burn Table Operator role in Clackamas, OR. Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and operate CNC burn table equipment, including plasma and oxy-fuel cutting machines, to cut metal materials according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings to ensure accurate cutting and fabrication.
• Load, position, and secure metal plates and materials safely for production runs.
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Inspect finished parts for accuracy, quality, and compliance with production standards.
• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of burn table equipment.
• Utilize measuring tools and gauges to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Maintain accurate production records and report any equipment issues or material defects.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with production and fabrication teams to meet deadlines and daily production goals.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; prior burn table, CNC, or metal fabrication experience preferred.
• Experience operating plasma or oxy-fuel cutting equipment is strongly preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding manufacturing environment.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
• Flexibility to work overtime or varying shifts as needed.
Compensation:

• $27/hour.
