Business Analyst 3 (Onsite) Primary Location: Austin, Texas V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Business Analyst 3 for our premier client in Austin, Texas. Education And Experience >> Knowledge of and ability to interpret Vital Statistics laws, policies, procedures and regulations.: 8 years. Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio).: 8 years. Skill in project planning and organization.: 8 years. Skill in business analysis methodologies.: 8 years. Skill in analyzing and evaluating complex information technology applications, policies, and issues.: 8 years. Skill in developing creative and workable solutions to complex problems and issues.: 8 years. Skill in communicating effectively both verbally and in writing with individuals and groups.: 8 years. Skill in using initiative and independent judgment and managing time effectively to establish priorities, organize tasks, and assign and direct the work of others.: 8 years. Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships, including the ability to work with people under pressure, negotiating with multiple parties and resolving conflicts.: 8 years. Skill in reading, interpreting and understanding material to prepare concise reports or appropriate responses for the review and/or signature of section managers and/or directors.: 8 years. Skill in gathering, organizing and analyzing facts, recommending solutions and resolving work-related problems.: 8 years. Skill in maintaining statistical and accounting records and producing data summaries.: 8 years. Ability to manage small to medium sized projects when needed.: 8 years. Ability to create project work plans.: 8 years. Ability to produce accurate work estimates and monitor progress.: 8 years. What You'll Do Job Responsibilities: Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. Experienced with business process reengineering and identifying new applications of technology to business problems to make business more effective. Familiar with industry standard business process mapping, and reengineering. Prepares solution options, risk identification, and financial analyses such as cost/benefit, ROI, buy/build, etc. Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs. The division is requesting to retain this Business Analyst. They will continue to work on EVER and exceptional items to ensure continuity of business operations. The contractor will support front line business operations across multiple areas within VSS. VSS collects, registers, and amends vital records for legal and administrative purposes, and uses vital records data for mission critical public health purposes. In order to respond to the increased demand for Vital Records through the Electronic Vital Events Registrar (EVER) System and continuity of exceptional items. VSS is requesting approval for this current VSS Business Analyst contractor. Interested?
