About the Role:
Carmelo's in Linthicum Heights, MD is looking for a passionate Pizza Cook to join our kitchen team! If you love crafting delicious, made-from-scratch pies and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Come be a part of a team that takes pride in every slice.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook pizzas and related menu items to order, following established recipes and quality standards
• Stretch, top, and bake pizzas using proper techniques to ensure consistent results
• Manage pizza oven temperatures and cooking times for optimal product quality
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout each shift
• Monitor ingredient levels and communicate supply needs to kitchen management
• Work efficiently during high-volume rushes to meet ticket times and customer expectations
• Assist with food prep, portioning, and stocking as needed
• Occasionally work the cash register

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a pizza cook, line cook, or in a similar kitchen role preferred
• Familiarity with pizza dough handling, stretching, and oven operation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-heat kitchen environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and consistency
• Reliable, punctual, and a team-oriented attitude
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (ServSafe certification a plus)
