Description - Your Responsibilities

• Conduct both routine and complex clinical laboratory tests-covering chemistry, hematology, immunology, and other essential areas-following established protocols.
• Ensure accuracy through result analysis, troubleshoot any inconsistencies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Assist in specimen collection and preparation as necessary, ensuring adherence to procedural standards.
• Thoroughly document all lab procedures, mentor new team members or students, and contribute to upholding the high standards of laboratory quality.
• Keep a safe, organized, and clean work environment, complying with all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or possess an equivalent allied health qualification along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• Obtain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of hiring.
• Maintain the certification in good standing throughout your tenure.
