Description - Your Impactful Role

• Execute both routine and complex clinical lab tests-covering areas such as chemistry, hematology, and immunology-while strictly adhering to established procedures.
• Assess test results for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Facilitate specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as necessary to ensure prompt testing.
• Document all lab processes comprehensively, mentor newly hired staff or students, and contribute to maintaining the highest lab quality standards.
• Uphold a tidy, safe workspace while complying with regulatory and accreditation mandates.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree, along with preparations for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Achieve ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of hiring.
• Maintain active certification for the duration of employment.
