Description - What You Will Do

• Conduct a range of routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests-spanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-following established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform preventative maintenance and calibration for laboratory instruments.
• Support with specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as necessary.
• Keep meticulous records of all procedures, assist in training new staff or students, and ensure the lab meets quality standards.
• Foster a clean and safe working environment, adhering to regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be acquired within one year of hiring.
• Maintain active certification throughout your employment on our team.
