Director Of Human Resources

- Key Responsibilities
- Lead recruiting and employee relations functions
- Manage HR staff (Administrators, Generalists)
- Develop HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook content
- Support leaders with coaching, conflict resolution, and performance guidance
- Conduct investigations, audits, plant tours, and compliance checks
- Oversee onboarding, training, and harassment-prevention programs
- Prepare responses for unemployment claims and support legal matters
- Present HR updates in employee meetings
- Recommend hires, promotions, and disciplinary actions
- Maintain HR records and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Support additional HR functions as needed Must-Have Qualifications
- 6+ years of professional HR experience
- Extensive training and hands-on experience in:
- Recruiting (full-cycle, high-volume, technical or manufacturing preferred)
- Employee relations (investigations, conflict resolution, coaching, corrective action)
- Leadership experience , including:
- Managing HR teams (Administrators, Generalists)
- Coaching and mentoring employees at all organizational levels
- Advanced proficiency with:
- Word processing tools
- Spreadsheet tools (Excel or equivalent)
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources , Business , or a related field
- Experience in manufacturing , industrial , or electronics environments
- Exposure to continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong customer service orientation and cross-functional collaboration skills
