Growth Marketing Manager - Performance Cycling Brand | Santa Monica, CA

Mural is partnering with a fast-growing performance bicycle brand to find their first Growth Marketing Manager in the US. The brand launched in April 2026 backed by one of the world's largest bicycle manufacturers, with a full lineup across road, gravel, city, fitness, and e-bike -- a pro team sponsorship at the highest level of the sport, a growing dealer network, and a lean team in Santa Monica building something from the ground up.

What the role is

You will own performance and growth marketing for the US market -- paid digital, email, organic social, content, SEO, influencer and community partnerships, and dealer co-marketing. You will work alongside the Head of Sales and Head of Design to drive consumer awareness, dealer demand, and brand credibility in a category where trust is earned through product quality and community, not ad spend alone. The cycling community is passionate, opinionated, and vocal. You need to understand how to market to them without alienating them.

What the right candidate looks like

You have run growth marketing at a consumer brand where the product actually matters to the people buying it -- cycling, outdoor, run, triathlon, action sports, or consumer hardware. You understand the difference between an enthusiast audience and a general consumer, and you know how to build for both without diluting either. You are comfortable with data -- you track CAC, LTV, conversion rates, and channel performance -- and you can use that data to make spend decisions, not just report on them.

You have built or managed paid social and paid search campaigns, know what a healthy email program looks like end to end, and have worked with influencers or ambassadors in a way that actually moved the needle rather than just generating impressions. You have also done this in a small team where you were the one running the campaigns, writing the copy, and pulling the reports -- not managing an agency to do it for you.

Cycling industry experience or genuine cycling culture fluency is a real advantage here. The brand is backing a pro team at the highest level of the sport and building a dealer network across independent bike shops. Knowing how that community thinks is not something you can fake.

Requirements

• 4+ years in growth or performance marketing, ideally at a consumer brand
• Hands-on experience with paid digital, email, SEO, and social -- you have executed, not just managed
• Data-driven approach: you build and track against metrics that tie to revenue
• Cycling, outdoor, or sports/fitness industry background strongly preferred
• Comfort building in a lean, early-stage environment
