Make a significant impact on students’ lives by providing speech-language services in a vibrant educational setting. As a contract Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll work with a diverse caseload ranging from preschool through high school, with a focus on supporting elementary students in both cross-categorical classrooms and general education settings on IEPs. You’ll also offer integral support in dedicated ASD elementary classrooms.
This full-time opportunity is onsite and covers the entire school year, beginning early September. The district is eager to move forward and will conduct interviews and make offers promptly.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Active SLP state license
- CCC-SLP or be in the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous experience with pediatric populations, especially in school settings
- Familiarity with healthcare standards as they pertain to speech-language services
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Experience or willingness to work with students on IEPs in both gen ed and special education settings
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech/language assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Deliver therapy to students across preschool through high school, with a focus on elementary
- Provide direct support for students in ACT 18 ASD classrooms
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student progress
- Maintain timely documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
- Contribute to IEP meetings and ensure compliance with IDEA guidelines
