Director of Finance & OperationsOur client is a large, rapidly growing nonprofit who is looking for a strong finance leader.Why Work Here:Up to 5% bonus$500/ mo tech/wellness stipend4% 401(k) match with immediate vesting20 vacation daysMedical coverage is 100% employer-paid for the employee under the base PPO plan and approximately 70% for dependentsMinimal travel required, generally 2 to 4 trips per year (board meetings, team retreats)Will cover CPA renewal fees and some CESizzle:Organization has grown significantly, with continued growth expectedHigh-impact leadership role with direct exposure to the COO, executive leadership, and BoardOpportunity to own both finance and broader nonprofit operationsLean, collaborative team with a strong Senior Accountant already in placeBroad responsibility across accounting, budgeting, forecasting, grants, audit, compliance, payroll, benefits, technology, insurance, and risk managementOpportunity to help strengthen processes and infrastructure as the organization continues to scaleWhat We Need:This person will lead the organization's finance and accounting function, including budgeting, forecasting, cash management, financial reporting, internal controls, grant accounting, restricted funds, audit, Form 990, and regulatory complianceThey will also oversee broader nonprofit operations, including payroll, benefits administration, technology, insurance, legal and regulatory compliance, vendor management, and organizational policies10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience w/ strong nonprofit exposureBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field required – advanced degree a plus (MBA or Master's in accounting)CPA requiredExperience with restricted funds, PAC $, 501(c)(3)/501(c)(4) entities, or other affiliated nonprofit structures is a big plusSalary range $140K to $175K base
