In this role, you will report to the RegionalManager and work closely with a team of statewide OutreachSpecialists from across the state. Your work will help ensure thatWPR is an integral part of the local community. In this job, youwill help plan and manage details of all external activitiesincluding events, community engagement and a regional e-newsletter.The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail,demonstrate an open-mindedness for growth and be able to work inindependent and collaborative settings, as well as represent WPRprofessionally in public. This is a part‑time, 20‑hour‑a‑week position. This position is Ongoing/Renewable. This person is expected to support regional events. As such, thework schedule will require flexibility and will be determined afterhire. Some nights and weekends will be required. This position requires work be performed in‑person at Green Bay,Wisconsin. Occasional workplace flexibility may be granted depending on business need. Key Job Responsibilities Identifies, promotes, and maintains external partnerships tosupport the outreach program Leads the implementation of programs, policies, and proceduresthrough oversight of day‑to‑day activities for program staff andstudent and community volunteers May assist with the monitoring of outreach program budgetspending Researches, develops, and facilitates outreach program contentand materials Delivers outreach program content and materials to communitymembers Schedules and secures resources and communicates logistics insupport of an outreach program Department Wisconsin Public Media/Wisconsin Public Radio/Green Bay Wisconsin Public Radio has bureaus all across the state. TheOutreach Specialist position will be hired in Green Bay, Eau Claireand Wausau. These positions will report to the Regional Manager andwill be joining a team that is based across the state. PBS Wisconsin and Wisconsin Public Radio are part of WisconsinPublic Media. The person in this position will be required tocomply with the Wisconsin Public Media Code of Ethics: in addition to theUW-Madison code of ethics. #WPR Compensation The expected pay for this position is between $24.00 to $27.00 per hour.
