We are currently searching for a Service Shop Foreman who have a high level of integrity, are hardworking and motivated to join our team.Position SummaryPosition: Service Shop ForemanClassification: Full Time; ExemptReports To: Service ManagerWork Location: In person; 16785 I-45 The Woodlands, TX 77385Work Schedule: This is an evening/night shift position. Hours will be from 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.Acts as the frontline leader of a repair facility, supervising technicians to ensure high-quality repairs, productivity, and customer satisfaction. They diagnose complex issues, assign work, provide technical training, and conduct quality checks, acting as the bridge between technicians and service advisors. Is responsible for monitoring routine service on vehicles and for assisting technicians with diagnosing and completing repairs on customer vehicles.Essential Duties include but are not limited to:Monitors repair orders to ensure they are completed on time, managing the repair process from intake to completion. Assigns repairs based on skill level, provides technical support for complex diagnostics, and trains or mentors technicians.Interacts with customers to resolve complaints and assist service advisors with technical explanations.Assist in diagnosing vehicle problems and interpreting work ordersEnsure vehicles are repaired correctly the first timeDiagnose vehicle problems other than those on the work order or those described by the customerEstimate time of service or repair job for purposes of efficient scheduling.Complies with the quality control & inspection requirements of the Service Dept.Other Duties May be assignedKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:Strong ability to lead, motivate, and mentor a team.Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical, electrical, and computer systems.Knowledge of automotive systems and the ability to explain systems and repairs to othersWillingness and ability to maintain current product and technical knowledgeAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Knowledge of approved and established procedures for warranty repairs and to ensure technicians follow the policies.Ability to document repairs performed on completed customer service ordersKnowledge of parts requirements to complete a job, and ability to communicate parts requirements via repair ordersRelevant Work Experience & Other Requirements:Must meet dealerships requirements for employment which include background check and drug screeningMust have a valid driver's license and be insurable based on driving record.ASE CertificationPrior experience as Service Shop ForemanPhysical Requirements:Must be able to lift 50 poundsMust be able to walk, stand, sit for long periods of timeMust be able to get under vehiclesCompensation & Benefits:Competitive Commission Based Pay PlanPaid Time Off401K retirement plan & annual employer matchHealth, Vision, and Dental benefitsHealth Savings AccountCompany Paid Life InsuranceDisability, Voluntary Life, & Supplemental plan optionsDiscounts, perks, and incentivesPaid TrainingOpportunity for Growth & DevelopmentSafe & Team Oriented Work Environment
