Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Sycamore, IL

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing essential communication support as a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist for summer services in the school setting. This position focuses on delivering impactful ESY (Extended School Year) SLP services at both elementary and high school levels, with the potential to support students at up to three sites near Sycamore, IL.


Mark your calendar for an initial staff work day on May 29th (8:00-11:00 am). ESY services will run from June 1st to June 30th, with staff hours scheduled from 7:45 am to 12:00 pm each day, totaling 4.25 paid hours daily. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with dedicated educators and make a difference as you help diverse learners build critical communication skills over the summer.


Qualifications & Experience:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program (Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology)
• CCC-SLP certification with active state licensure
• Experience working in school-based settings is highly valued
• Proficiency in utilizing AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices
• Bilingual fluency to accommodate diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy to elementary and high school students in ESY programs
• Address a range of communication needs personalized to each student's IEP goals
• Complete required documentation for progress monitoring and compliance
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Travel between school sites, as needed, within a supportive environment
