Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients in their home environment, assessing physical conditions, mobility limitations, and therapeutic needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs, incorporating techniques such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and advanced modalities.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic tools and equipment as needed to facilitate patient recovery and mobility enhancement.
• Regularly document patient progress, responses to treatments, and adjustments to therapeutic goals and plans as necessary to ensure optimal care.
• Educate patients and caregivers about prescribed exercises, treatment protocols, and the use of assistive devices to promote independence and self-care.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills by participating in continuing education, professional workshops, and staying informed on the latest rehabilitation techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role involves working with a diverse patient population, including children and adults recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and various medical conditions. You will be instrumental in guiding patients through their rehabilitation journeys, ensuring that each individual feels supported and empowered to achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; candidates with a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy will be preferred.
• State license in Physical Therapy, ensuring you meet all legal and professional standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required to engage effectively with patients and collaborate with healthcare teams.
• Basic computer skills, including experience with word processing and electronic documentation systems.
• A flexible and agile approach to patient care, with the ability to adapt treatment plans based on ongoing assessments.
• Previous work experience in physical therapy is not mandatory; we welcome new graduates to apply.

Preferred Experience

• While prior experience as a Physical Therapist is not required, any relevant clinical internships or practicum experiences will be advantageous for role ease.
• Experience dealing with orthopedic cases is a plus, as well as familiarity with various therapeutic techniques and modalities.

Compensation and Benefits
