Work Environment

The position is located onsite as therapists provide care directly within clients' homes. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Calibre Ortho Care, you will be responsible for:

• Directing tailored physical therapy treatments aimed at restoring function, alleviating pain, and enhancing mobility in accordance with personalized care plans.
• Overseeing the implementation of care plans executed by Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring adherence to therapeutic protocols and quality care standards.
• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of clients' physical abilities and limitations, utilizing advanced diagnostic assessments to inform treatment strategies.
• Assessing environmental factors affecting rehabilitation, providing actionable insights to improve client independence and safety within their homes.
• Administering physical therapy services as directed by referring physicians, including manual therapy, exercise programs, and application of physical agents such as traction and massage.
• Documenting all treatment sessions rigorously, preparing accurate clinical records including initial evaluations, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with national standards and local regulations.
• Participating actively in interdisciplinary teams, contributing insights during case conferences and collaborating on comprehensive patient management strategies.
• Keeping thorough records of client progress and communicating any changes in condition promptly to case managers and physicians for the adjustment of treatment plans.
• Providing education and guidance to clients and family members on the effective use of therapeutic devices and home exercise programs, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.

Qualifications

To be considered for the Physical Therapist role, candidates must possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
