Work Environment

This position is stationed onsite at our outpatient office, providing an engaging and interactive work environment. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation technologies designed to support diverse treatment methodologies. With a structured schedule from Monday to Friday across a 40-hour week, our therapists maintain a balanced work-life integration while pursuing their professional objectives.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians, utilizing clinical assessments and patient histories to inform treatment plans.
• Implement tailored therapy programs to treat a variety of conditions in specialties such as orthopedics, pediatrics, neurology, and sports medicine.
• Ensure high levels of patient satisfaction through exemplary customer service and continuous communication during therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to incorporate evidence-based practices that enhance patient outcomes.
• Deliver in-home therapeutic care as needed, applying appropriate techniques to modify patient conditions in alignment with established goals set forth by referring physicians.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and rehabilitation techniques to empower them throughout the recovery process.
• Meet or exceed minimum utilization targets and other key performance metrics to align with organizational objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

We serve a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgical procedures, managing chronic conditions, or seeking preventative care. You will have the opportunity to make meaningful impacts on the lives of children with developmental conditions, athletes recovering from sports injuries, and adults recovering from orthopedic procedures. Your role will facilitate their movement and functionality, helping them return to their daily activities and enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, you must possess the following:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), granted by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• At least two (2) years of clinical experience in a physical therapist role.
• A current CPR certification to ensure safety standards are met.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities to effectively convey medical information to patients and build relationships with the community.
• Proficiency in using computer applications and electronic health record systems for documentation and patient tracking.

Preferred Experience

While the minimum requirement is two years of experience, candidates with experience in outpatient settings, particularly those who have worked with orthopedic and sports therapy patients, are preferred. Familiarity with evidence-based treatment methodologies and outcome measurements is highly desirable, as is a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
