Work Environment

This full-time position is an onsite role within our outpatient office, where you will work closely with a diverse team of healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, including reviewing medical histories and performing thorough assessments to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Clearly communicate evaluation findings and treatment strategies to patients and their families, actively involving them in goal setting.
• Implement and adjust treatment protocols based on ongoing assessments of patient progress and condition changes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, documenting any changes in patient status that may require adjustments in the plan of care or further medical consultations.
• Oversee discharge planning and follow-up care, ensuring all documentation reflects the patient's treatment journey, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Manage time effectively to meet productivity expectations while participating in community outreach and marketing efforts to enhance clinic visibility.
• Contribute to departmental goals, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
• Pursue continuing education opportunities to enhance clinical skills and support organizational objectives, while serving as a clinical instructor for students.
• Maintain a customer-centric approach to care, adapting to meet patient needs and preferences to enhance their access to treatments.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will be working with a varied patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our clinic focuses on personalized care pathways that cater to each patient's unique needs, emphasizing a holistic and compassionate approach to rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association (BLS for Healthcare Providers).

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
