This role directly supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract, where your technical contributions keep mission-critical systems secure, compliant, and continuously operational.What You'll Be DoingSystem Administration and operations of Microsoft environmentsSupport the Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) cybersecurity compliance, operational sustainment, and other general IT tasks as required to ensure continuous performance and ATOManage system configuration and operation of serversManage, configure, maintain client-based computer systemsPerform system monitoring, scanning, and response activitiesPerform administration operations and maintenance activities of hardware and softwarePerform root cause analysis to troubleshoot system errors and client system issuesPerform and maintain DoD Information System Vulnerability Management (IAVM) compliance with routine patching for updates released by vendorsManage, update, and maintain configuration management of all configuration changes to systems, patches and anti-virus software updatesPerform system analysis for virtual service health status to include resource utilization and performance requirements to ensure optimal performance of systemsPerform routine scans and anti-virus software updates on all systemsPerform system automation activities with utilizing scripting tools/languagesProvide System Administration support for IT related meetings and configuration change board reviewsWhat You BringBasic Requirements:Must have 6, or more, years of general (full-time) work experience May be reduced with completion of advanced educationMust have 2, or more, years of directly related experience in an engineering fieldMust have a current DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II Certification (e.g. CompTIA Security+ CE Certification)Must have an active DoW Secret Security ClearanceWhy LaunchTech?LaunchTech is built on a single standard: Excellence, Period.
