Commercial Sales Engineer

Job Summary The Commercial Sales Engineer works as a technical sales consultant to engineers, architects, contractors, and owners/developers in the design, application and sale of unitary heating and ventilation systems, controls and related material across our distributor network. Responsibilities Contact and call on consulting engineers, mechanical contractors, architects, and owners to achieve annual sales and gross margin goals Conduct sales, design, and application training to key decision makers Work with specifying engineers and design‑build contractors to help specify CE products Create new business through organized prospecting and increase our share of business from the assigned territory Conduct take‑offs of plans and specifications; develop and price estimates, write proposals and bid jobs Participate in local and regional trade organizations and trade shows Provide and/or coordinate technical and product training to customers Requirements 5+ years of proven technical sales, HVAC sales experience An undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar technical discipline Solid understanding of HVAC principles Verifiable experience with specified products Strong presentation skills Proficient with a PC and Microsoft Office applications Proficiency with CRM/Database tools Qualifications Experience working with contractors (commercial and residential HVAC parts and equipment) is desired Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment Solid problem‑solving abilities with the competence to make recommendations Benefits Health Insurance Health Savings Account Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Disability Insurance (Short‑term and Long‑term) Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Tuition Reimbursement & Professional Development Paid Vacation & Sick time Company Paid Holidays 401(k) Plan with Employer Match Employee Discount Program Equal Opportunity Statement Carrier Enterprise, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of age, color, race, religion, disability, sex, or national origin.
