Lead and manage all aspects of multiple, larger and more highly complex information technology (IT) products and/or technical initiatives. Establish goals, metrics, determine future opportunities for change/improvements and provide training opportunities for associates. Manage budgets. Leads a team of IT architects, engineers, and developers. Participate in the development of policies, procedures, standards and controls. Lead product development and support in partnership with business stakeholders. Principle Duties Leads and manages projects and/or technology initiatives; identifies and resolves technical, operational, and organizational problems Mentor associates within the department and continually develop project team competencies. Develop and maintain effective business relationships, coordinating service delivery in line with negotiated Service Commitments. Manage the business partner's application portfolio by understanding and communicating needs to internal IT project teams and external vendors Collaborate with business partners to ensure properly defined and communicated project requests. Duties include hiring, training, evaluating, coaching, direct reports. Maintain current knowledge of industry practices, trends and applications. Perform other duties as assigned. Education Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) or equivalent experience - Required Master’s degree in Arts/Sciences (MA/MS) - Preferred Work Experience 9+ years experience in project management, programming, or systems analysis - Required Skills and Abilities Highly advanced project management and systems analysis skills. Demonstrates ability to evaluate project objectives and scope, analyzes objectives for feasibility, and gain business understanding - Required Advanced oral and written communication skills, demonstrating the ability to convey business terminology that is meaningful and well received by the customer - Required Highly advanced people management skills, demonstrating an ability to lead, mentor and develop associates. Advanced interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to lead and mentor support staff - Required Excellent planning and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and/or sub-teams simultaneously, including the ability to delegate key areas of responsibility. Compensation Range $107,060.00 - $159,390.00 Annual. Base pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan.
