Apartment Maintenance Technician - Immediate Work | Middletown & CT Shoreline Location: Middletown, CT & Surrounding Areas/New Haven/New London Job Type: Full-Time | Temporary | Temp-to-Hire Schedule: Monday-Friday, Day Shift Apartment Maintenance Techs - We Have Work Available NOW! The Liberty Group is hiring Apartment Maintenance Technicians for immediate opportunities throughout Middletown, New Haven, New London, and the Connecticut shoreline. If you have hands-on maintenance experience and are looking for steady work, competitive pay, and opportunities that can lead to permanent employment , we want to talk to you. Fast onboarding. What You'll Be Doing Depending on the property and your skill level, responsibilities may include: Apartment turns and make-readies Completing resident work orders Basic plumbing repairs Basic electrical repairs and troubleshooting Drywall, patching, and painting Fixture, hardware, and appliance repairs Preventative maintenance Grounds and common-area upkeep General property repairs What We're Looking For Previous apartment, residential, hotel, facilities, or building maintenance experience Comfortable using hand and power tools Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge preferred Ability to work independently and troubleshoot common maintenance issues Reliable transportation Dependable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to pass required pre-employment screening HVAC and EPA certifications are a plus, but not required for every opportunity.
