Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract position runs from late August through mid-June, with assignments starting the school year with smaller caseloads that may grow as the year progresses. You’ll provide on-site support across up to two or three schools, primarily serving elementary and middle school-aged students. Assignments will be tailored to your comfort and strengths—our supportive supervisory team ensures a great fit for your skills and preferences.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Maryland SLP license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred; outstanding CFYs considered
• At least 1 year of school-based experience preferred (exceptional references or clinical background considered)
• Ability to pass a House Bill background check
• Submission of license images at application
• Flexibility to travel between assigned schools in the Rockville/Washington DC area
• Experience with varying caseload sizes, with elementary maxing at 40, middle up to 48, and occasional peak caseloads

Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy to students across designated schools
• Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, families, and educational staff
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to state and school policies
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress tracking
• Attend supervision and staff development as required
